Some Steel cans stay right here in Milwaukee to be processed by AMG Resources Midwest Corporation and sold to steel mills and foundries. The rest are sent to Gary, Indiana, and to Conti Metals in Brooklyn, New York. Any product made of or containing steel is sure to be composed of a significant amount of recycled steel. Examples include new steel food cans, automotive bodies and parts, appliances, and construction material.
